Belkasoft Evidence Center 6.3: Better Android Support, Gallery Preview, Indexed Search
We are rolling out an update to Belkasoft Evidence Center 2014. In version 6.3, we greatly extended support for Android apps, made picture preview easier with new gallery view, boosted the speed of keyword search via the use of an indexing engine, and enabled automated analysis for embedded data types such as emails with attachments or documents with embedded images. Android All The Way
With v.6.3 we are significantly extending our support for mobile forensics, adding more apps to the list of supported data formats. Analyzing Android backups or UFED dumps with Belkasoft Evidence Center 6.3 will return more comprehensive results than ever. This release adds support of Instagram, Kik, Snapchat, Tumblr, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Textie, ChatOn, TextMe, Telegram, Mail.ru Mail, Odnoklassniki, Yandex.Mail, and Xabber as well as a number of other Android apps.
Enhanced Picture Discovery
Version 6.3 makes analyzing pictures easier by implementing gallery view. Gallery view greatly improves usability of working with pictures, as multiple images can be previewed at the same time. You can preview discovered pictures, video keyframes, files embedded in documents, picture attachments, carved pictures and pictures from other sources.
Indexed Search Gives a Speed Boost
Evidence Center 6.3 makes analyzing discovered evidence easier, boosting keyword search performance some 25 times faster due to the use of a new indexing engine. In addition, the new Search Results window displays the location in analyzed data where a search term was discovered.
Analyzing Embedded Data
How many times did you find a picture embedded in a ZIP-compressed document that was emailed as an attachment? Evidence Center 6.3 takes care of data enclosed within other data in full auto mode. You can now, for example, access the full EXIF data of a picture that was part of a zipped Word document sent as an attachment in just a click. Belkasoft Evidence Center will automatically locate the email, save its attachments, unpack the ZIP archive, extract the documents, discover embedded objects and extract any meaningful metadata - all without your interaction, saving precious minutes during your investigation.
Better Reporting and Enhanced Stability
In this version, we revamped the Reporting by making use of brand-new PDF and HTML reporting engine. The new engine can handle huge data sets without a fuss, reliably generating reports up to several thousand pages! In addition, we made numerous improvements in stability and performance, allowing Evidence Center 6.3 reliably handle 3 TB and 4 TB hard drives filled with extra-large data sets.

With the release of Evidence Center 6.3, we updated our all-in-one toolkit, Belkasoft Acquisition & Analysis Suite, with all the features of the updated Evidence Center.
